SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Requests) is initiated in response to a supplier caused non-conformance or potential non-conformance as required in all QCM systems.

To understand the needs and frustrations of users, both suppliers and product owners were interviewed, and a design sprint was conducted to formulate a clear problem statement.

    • Be informed about the procedure in advance to prepare and understand the information going to the supplier

A major aspect of the solution involved redesigning the entire process to resolve SCAR. The initial workflow was cumbersome and time-consuming, especially for handling non-conformance issues. After thoroughly understanding the system, we revamped the process to make it significantly more efficient.
